I have many wonderful memories of Joan! It was a privilege to conduct church hymns while she played the organ. We both shared a great love for music. What I so enjoyed was her strong and unwavering testimony of her faith. She loved her family and would share delightful conversations about them. I know she is reunited with loved ones. What an honor it is for the family to have thought of me at the time of her passing. I feel so blessed to have known Joan❤️

Joan taught me to conduct the hymns. A great teacher and we shared a love for each other. Her style was elegant and pretty near perfect❣️
While Joan taught me the basics, our styles were different. I was the wild one who moved with the music and sometimes improvised on the beat.
You will be missed but I’m sure your with Paul and your family, playing the organ in Heaven.

She gained the nickname "Ommy Nommy Grandma" from my siblings and I because when she was feeding her infant grandchildren, she would almost always say "ommy nommy, ommy nommy". It was an honour to be your granddaughter.
