I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. Wayne was on my Committee of Adjustment and Property Standards Committee at the City of Orillia for years, and I also dealt with him on numerous property matters as a City staff member. He was always kind and thoughtful in his dealings with me and everyone else. I am honoured to support the Couchiching Conservancy in his memory.

Our sincere condolences to Gloria, Meegan, Sarah and family. Wayne will be remembered for his friendly sense of humour and his sincerity. It's been almost 10 years since I've seen Wayne and 1000s of customers later - I still remember Wayne coming into the bank and answering back "every day is a good day" when asked how his day is going. That has stuck with me all of these years and I often found myself saying the same when asked. My deepest condolences to Wayne's family and I am very sorry for your loss. Wyatt McParland

We will miss Wayne dearly; his knowledge, his kindness, his business ethic, his dry humour and the list goes on and on.
Wayne, you were a man of few words but when you spoke everyone was happy to listen because those words held great meaning. Wayne loved his work but the one thing he loved more was Gloria and the girls. I share an oldie but goodie of Wayne, the family man.
Gloria, Meegan and Sarah - his legacy lives on through you.

I met Wayne many years ago as a young appraiser and was instantly impressed by this man. He was professional and courteous to a young appraiser who did not know how little he knew. Wayne was always a friendly person, making sure to say hello to everyone at our Chapter meetings. I met his daughter Meegan some years ago and could see a similar friendly face I saw always in Wayne. My condolences to the family at this difficult time. The passage of time will heal these short term pains and be replace with a smile at thoughts of the man
