My husband and I lived in the same neighbourhood as both Joanne and her brother Ron. We recall one evening when her dog showed up at our door wearing his leash but Joanne was nowhere to be found. It turned out all was well but it gave us quite a scare.

My brother Seamus and I had the pleasure of having Joanne as our real estate agent during a really tough time for us and she was so lovely and kind and made the whole stressful experience better. We became friendly and kept in touch a bit afterwards. I loved hearing about her love for her sons and her puppy. We are so sorry for your loss and you're in our thoughts.

We are so sorry for the loss of Joanne who was a beautiful person inside and out.I connected with Joanne on our facebook group "We Love Our Goldens of Ontario."We both have a cream golden retriever from Goldnote Kennels in Weybridge.We were able to message one another with uodates on our pups.Joanne was always so caring with her comments and I only wish we lived closer to meet in person.To her family we send our deepest condolences and know that Breagha her wonderful golden girl will be taken care of by you.Thinking of you all at this difficult time.Jim,Marian and Henry McMicking.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Joanne's family, she was a wonderful woman and a strong woman. I was proud to have been in cheerleading and drama with her at high school, and had a continued friendship throughout our lives. She always brought such fun when she visited my store, and I looked forward to the time we had. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
