Obituary of Gordon Norman Cook

Cook: Gordon Norman At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 22nd , 2017 in his 93rd year. Gordon Cook of Orillia beloved husband of the late Anne Cook (nee Cripps) and the late Lila Maud Cook (nee Cross). Loving father of Norma Cook (Gary) and James Cook (Kerrie). Loving grandfather of Jason, Crystal (Vance), Jeffery, Samantha and Jackson. Great grandfather of Daniel, Vandaver, Makaila and Kelan. Predeceased by his brother Harvey Cook. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Pitcher and all the staff at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and support. A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Sunday March 5th from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment will be held at St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Rd W, Orillia at a later date.
