Obituary of Kay Smith

Smith, Dorothy Kathleen (Kay) Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 2nd, 2016 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Orval Smith. Loving mother of Shirley Welsh (William), Marilyn Bryson (James), Wendy Stanton (Steven), and Marjorie Parish (John). Cherished grandmother of Kimberley, Ian, Amy, Kenzie, Angela, Kara, Rachel, Cody, Jason, Jodanne, Jillian; great grandmother of 18 great grandchildren Kay is predeceased by her siblings Gordon, William (Olive), James (Sue). Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Monday November 7th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial services at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or to the First Baptist Church.
