Obituary of Ronald Cotton

Cotton, Ronald Ralph After fighting another courageous battle with cancer, Ron passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday October 29th, 2016 in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Kathryn (nee Shackleton) for 43 years. Loving father of Kimberley Worrall (James), and Kevin Cotton. Proud grandfather of his first grandchild on the way. Predeceased by his parents Eric and Stella Cotton. Dear brother of Sandra Fitzgerald(predeceased) (Brian), Heather Fox (Lloyd), and Lee-Anne Bowden (Shaun). Ron will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Friday November 4th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital Foundation.
