Mary was my biological mother, who gave me away at birth so that I could have two parents and a loving home. I will be forever grateful to her for her selflessness. Meeting her 8 years ago was something I never dreamed of. It has been very healing to know Mary over these years, as well as my siblings, Colleen, Ronda and James and their families. For both Mary and I, there was tremendous closure around the mystery of being adopted. Mary actually met my father, Art Boisvert, about a year after my mom passed away, in 2008. It was quite remarkable to see the mutual appreciation these two individuals had for each other. My heart goes out to all of you at this sad time. Hold on to your memories of Mary and life your best life possible. I'm sure that would be her wish for all of you. May she rest in peace - Godspeed dear mother! Love always, Andrée
