Obituary of Georgie McDonald

McDonald, Georgina Lillian (Georgie) Passed away at her home in Orillia on September 7th, 2016 in her 85th year. Loving mother of Timothy (Denise) of Concord, Daniel (Nancy) of Carcross, Yukon Territory and Casey of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Cherished grandmother Wesley, Vince, Serenity, Amy Sharon and Lindsay. Dear sister of Wilma McClinton. Special friend of Max. Georgina will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Georgie was a volunteer with The Sharing Place Food Bank for almost 3o years. She was an avid Carpet Bowler and a member of Core 34 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Orillia. A celebration of Georgie’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Monday September 12th from 1 to 3 p.m. Tributes will be given at 1:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Sharing Place Food Bank.
