Hurst: Irene Evelyn In loving memory of Irene Evelyn Hurst (nee Gross) who passed away in the presence of family in her 92nd year at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Friday, July 29th, 2016. Irene Hurst of Barrie, formerly of Orillia was the beloved wife of the late Edward David Hurst. Much loved mother of Gary Giller (Pam Woods) of Sharbot Lake, Lynn Giller of Barrie, and Cynthia Giller (Evan McDonald) of Barrie. Stepmother of Sharon Drever (Gary Phillips) of Wasaga Beach, and Linda Wilson of Wasaga Beach. Dear grandmother of Aimee Ward, Nathan Giller, Kristin Giller, Matthew and Caitlin Bainborough, Cassandra Watt, Deena Osborne, Justyn and Morgan Wilson-Smith. Great Grandmother of Dakota Whan, Lucan and Torin Ward, Finnegan Moebus, A.J., Savanna, Fiona and Cierra Watt, Mya and Jared Osborne and Keira Smith. Dear sister of Robert Gross (Fran) of Waterloo, Florence Doherty (Ev) of Gravenhurst, Shirley Berch (Herb) of Kitchener and Vera of London. Internment service at The Barrie Union Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday September 4th followed by a private family Celebration of Life.
