Obituary of William "Bill" Gerald Moore

Moore: William Gerald (Bill) Peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday July 30th 2016 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Moore (nee Hazlett) and the late Shirley Moore (nee Bylow). Much loved father of Dan Moore (late Cathy) and Carol Rail (John). Dear stepfather of Tammy Smith (Rocky), Cheryl Ball (Don), Anita Ambridge (Dean) and the late Terry McCrea. Loving grandfather of Scott, Karina, Shaun, Tara, Michelle, David, Haylie, Kyle, Kristal, McKenzie and Kurtis. Great grandfather of Ethan, Owen, Jaxson, Anthony and Aurora. Dear brother of Mary (Mel-predeceased), Dennis-predeceased, Douglas-predeceased (Edna), Sydney (Stella) both predeceased. Also remembered by his many nieces and nephews of both England and Ontario. Visitation will be held at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Sunday August 7th from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
