Peter was my brother, my hero & the only father-figure I had while growing up. He was the person who changed the entire course of my life. I will always have fond memories of him - his boasterious laugh that filled whatever room he was in; the rose tattoo on his forearm, that, when I was little, I thought was a cabbage because he loved his mother's cabbage rolls so much. He'd let me pull his boots off while he sat in the big lazy boy chair - letting his foot go when I'd least expect it, so that me & the boot would tumble ass-over-tea kettle, while Peter & I both laughed. When he came home, he'd often have little gifts for me - my favourite of which was a little China tea set... I still have a fondness for miniatures that I'm sure stems from that tea set.
Peter was charismatic, charming & full of life - many of the qualities I tried to emulate as I was growing up.
Sadly though, like what happens in so many families, Peter and I let our differences get in the way. We were both stubborn and opinionated and unfortunately, this kept us apart for the latter part of his life. But I never stopped loving him and I like to think, he never stopped loving me either.
I'm grateful he had Lori to love and to spend the last half of his life with.
I hope my brother, my hero & my father-figure is at peace wherever he is now. And I hope that place has a Harley-Davidson waiting for him.

Though I only met you a few times in my life, I felt a deep connection with you right away, a very spiritual bond between Family. I'm so sad to see you go and a grieve that we did not get the chance to spend more time together.
