To Clare...I was always just a baby!
To me...Clare was my old bag of dirt!
I will miss you my friend, until we meet again!

Dear Whitmell kids: Kevin and I wish to express our sincere sympathy on the passing of your dad. May it help to know that old friends remember things like your dads old baseball shirt and so on. Praying for you all during this difficult time. Sincerely Ruth and Kevin

Andy and Jolene Plunkett posted a condolence

My condolences to Bill's family. I had the privilege to play ball for Bill over the past few years after moving back to Orillia. I earned his friendship and loyalty when he was willing to take on a new player. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to become a member of his team and become his friend. I will miss our conversations and the kindness that he shared with those who made it past his rough and tough exterior. He loved ball and devoted many years to playing, coaching and running teams. Rest in Peace Bill, you will be missed by Jolene and myself and others as you made an impact on many.
