Obituary of Joseph Staels

Staels: Joseph Richard Peacefully at his residence in Rama on Sunday July 31st, 2011, he succumbed to his long battle with cancer in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Jeannette Staels (nee Aussant). Much loved father of Penny and her husband Dennis Noganosh of Rama, Joseph of Calgary, Terry and his wife Janet of New Lowell, Phillip of Calgary and Raymond and his wife Linda of Brentwood. Loving grandfather of thirteen, great-grandfather of fourteen and great great-grandfather of four. Dear brother of Fred Staels and Janet and her husband Danny Roose, all of Newbury ON. Remembered by many nieces and nephews as "Uncle Jokey", and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia L3V 1L1 on Friday, August 5th from 12 noon until time of funeral services in the Chapel at 2 p.m. .
