Sincerest condolences from Sue in Nova Scotia. I just heard about Olie's passing from Dave. I must say it was lovely to see the photo of Olie online. That's the way I will always remember him...smiling and handsome. I was just thinking about him a couple of days ago, remembering our work together and how much we used to laugh (and sometimes argue!). He was a great boss to me and an inspiration with his fairness, loyalty, and intelligence. Many blessings to you Anne, and of course all the family. I know you will be surrounded by them at this time. I will never forget the sweet Dr. T. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Dear Ann and Family, All the Whetstones were saddened to learn of Olie's passing. We enjoyed the good times we had together when you lived on the farm. However, I was the luckiest one as I got to spend a great deal of time at your house with Stephanie and Theresa. Even though your house was full and busy with your own children, Ann, you and Olie always made me feel so welcomed. I have many fond memories of my time spent with your family because you two were amazing. I realise now that Olie was a very patient man and I truly appreciate all your kindness. With sincerest sympathy, Brenda and the Whetstone Family

What a blessing to have known Olie Tucker. For those of you who attended Woodstock Collegiate in the early '50's you will agree with me that Olie was a special person with a contagious smile and a great sense of humour. My deepest sympathy to his wife Ann and his family, he will be greatly missed.

Anne and family -- We're so sorry to hear of Oly's death. We had some wonderful times together when you lived at the Embro farm, and so did our kids. I was so surprised to see Oly driving in to work on a motorcycle ! Who knew? There were so many sides to that man. Going back to school to become an Orthodontist was a big family decision but you all did it! Guess he always knew he could count on his family for support. We're thinking of you. Be strong. -- Colleen and Bob White, Woodstock.

I attended WCI with Ollie in Woodstock and we played on the same teams. He was always a better athlete than I! When we graduated we unfortunately lost track of each other as our lives went in different directions. I was sad to learn of his death from one of our Woodstock friends, Gayle Allen. Ollie was always very popular at WCI and it was gratifying to see that his congenial nature continued throughout his life. Ted Taylor

To Ollie's family...my thoughts are with all of you during this very tough time. I know Ollie has been having health problems for some time and his suffering is now at an end. It is still so hard to even imagine he is gone. He has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember...as a friend, big brother and the absolute best dentist ever! When Ollie and my brother, Tom, got together....watch out! The party always started immediately!! Hugs to all of you! Ollie loved you all so much! xxoo...MM "Do not weep because he is gone; smile because he lived!"

Olie you were the greatest Dentist in Woodstock. Your gentle hands will never be matched by any other Dentist. When you moved to Orillia our family was saddened but also happy that you succeeded in becoming an Orthodontist I lost my top teeth at an early age - I believe I was your first patient to receive a porcelain plate - it is with me today at the age of 65 years. So sorry to hear your passing was a long and difficult one. Sincerely, Lyn and Doug Stewart, Woodstock,Ontario

Dear Ann and family: I am so sad for the tremendous loss of Ollie leaving this world but as we know, he is now in the best place forever. I am and always have been in my own small way somewhat envious of the lasting loving relationship that you and Ollie and your family have shared. It's so rare these days. You, Ollie and all of your family welcomed Karen and I without hesitation. How fortunate for Karen to be a part of such a family with Ollie spearheading it. He gave Karen great joy which I'm sure will always be in a very special part of her heart. His spirit, spontaneity and non-judgemental traits always shone through... behaviour we all should strive for. Your love and closeness with each other will carry you through this very difficult time. May God Bless all of you.

When I was growing up in Woodstock, ON my brothers and the Tucker boys were great friends. When I married my husband Bill Fell and moved with our children up to Orillia, ON it was a pleasant surprise to run into Olie at the curling club in mixed doubles. He was exactly the same as I remember him from a little girl. Same sweet smile. Several years later I lost my own brother Harry Chattington and with one phone call not only did Olie drive with his truck up to Harry's apt. in Waubaushene to help unload things but then followed up with a drive down to Woodstock a few days later for Harry's funeral. - Just goes to show that nice boys grow up into great men. I will always cherish my memories of him. With loving thoughts of a wonderful man. Best to the family.

Anne, I am so sorry to hear of Olies passing, although sometimes it is for the best. I remember fondly the visits with the Fosters on big Chief Rd, when you and Olie would come over and the kind words Olie had for me when George passed. My thoughts are with you.
