Obituary of Ruth Ewanchuk

Ewanchuk: Ruth Irene At the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 in her 84th year. Ruth Ewanchuk (nee Link-Beaton) beloved wife of Nicholas Ewanchuk. Much loved mother of John Ewanchuk, Sheila Damery (Rod), Robert Ewanchuk (Lisa) and Lois Ewanchuk-Leiher and Vern Ewanchuk (Charlene). Predeceased by Beatrice and Sidney Ewanchuk. Loving grandmother of Brian Damery, Scott Damery, Nicole Damery, Sara Ewanchuk, Stephen Ewanchuk, Julian Leiher and loving great grandmother of Cassandra, Nicholas and Emma. Ruth was affectionately known in the neighborhood as "The Candy Lady". Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E, Orillia on Saturday July 16th, 2011 at 2 p.m. until time of Memorial Services in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
