VanderVeen: Klaas (Clarence) Passed away peacefully with family at his side at the Trillium Manor Orillia on Saturday May 14th, 2011 in his 92nd, year. Beloved Husband of Leah deHaan and the late Johanna VanderVeen. Loving father of Peter of Jarratt, Andy of Jarratt, Anne McKersie (Chris) of Baxter, Dianne Kruithof (Garry) of Cochrane, Don of Calgary and Wilma Steels (Tony) of Coopers Falls. Loving grandfather of Richie, Colleen, Cory, Dustin (predeceased), Jessica, Kyle, Sarah, Steven, Kevin, Melissa, Sheldon, Ryan, Lisa, Julia, Ben, and Sara. Loving great grandfather of Courtney, Morgan, Faith, Donavon (predeceased), Taryn, Zachary, Oliver and Jane. Dear brother of Janke Grasman of Brampton, Aukje VanderVeen of Netherlands, Haaije of Netherlands, Allan of Brampton, Jack (Catherine) of Brantford. Predeceased by Wijke, Siebe and Jan remembered by sisters-in-law Sjaan VanderVeen of Netherlands and Tina VanderVeen of California. Also remembered by Step Children Cor deHaan (Christine) of Coldwater. Nell Bergsma (Siep) of Orillia and Anne deHaan (Garnet Dilworth) of Midland and their families. Friends of the late Mr. VanderVeen will be received at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East from 3-5 pm and 7-9 on Thursday May 2019th. Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church 50 Fittons Road West Orillia on Friday May 20th at 1:30 p.m.. Interment to follow at St. Andrews St. James' Cemetery, Orillia.
