Orr: Ruth Ida (nee Downs) Peaceful at Victoria House at Orillia on Sunday, May 8th, 2011 in her 97th year. Ruth Orr of Orillia, beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Orr. Dear mother of Wilfred Orr of Orillia and Katharine Orr of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Billie Ann Garry, Dear sister of Mabel Orr of Orillia, George Downs and his wife Lois of St. Catharines, predeceased by Hubert, Wilfred, Alex, Bill, Harvey, Lillian, Martha, Isabel and Russell, Remember by sister-in-law Jean Hipwell of Orillia. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the management and staff of Victoria House how took such wonderful care of Ruth. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home-38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday May 19th, 2011 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation.
