VanderMeer: Helen Peacefully went to be with Jesus, at Orillia on Thursday April 7th, 2011 in her 74th, year. Helen VanderMeer (nee Schiphof) beloved and devoted wife of John VanderMeer of 53 years. Much loved mother of Richard (Barbara) of Warminster, Dave (Florence) (Lori-predeceased) of Manitoba, Lori VanderMeer of Barrie, Wendy VanderMeer (Edward Boynton) of Moonstone, Randy of Barrie and Chris (Neva) of Orillia. Loving grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Eldest daughter of the late Dirk and Aka Schipoff. Dear sister of Jenny Van Kalsbeek (Donald-predeceased) of Orillia, Susan Sikkema (Appi-predeceased) of Orillia, Anne (Weldon Snell) of Eganville and Debbie Schiphof of Orillia. Visitation will be held at the Calvary Pentecostal Church 375 Westmount Drive N. Orillia on Tuesday April 12th, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Private family interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
