Boynton: Dr. Arthur John (PHD in Education/ Retired School Principal) At Orillia on Monday, March 28th, 2011 in his 84th year. Arthur Boynton of Washago, beloved husband of Marilyn Elizabeth Boynton (nee Joe) for 53 years. Dear father of Heather Marie Boynton and her partner Treacy Harrison of Thunder Bay, K.C. and his wife Mary Anne of Bradford and Lisa and her husband Steve Carpenter of Milton. Loving grandfather of Sarah, Sam and Brynn. Dear brother of Robert and his wife Anna (both predeceased), Bill of S.Carolina (his wives Dolores and Audrey-both predeceased); and Dick and his wife Pat of Indiana. Arthur is remembered by his sisters and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Arthur was Retired Principal at William Armstrong Public School in Markham. He was active in many sports which included officiating as a CFL Field Official for the Toronto Argonauts. He was well known for his great sense of humour. He will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Arthur's Life will be held at a future date to be announced shortly on Simcoe Funeral Home's website: www.simcoefuneralhome.ca .
