Obituary of Bernice Ferguson

McNeil-Ferguson: Bernice Marion Born May 27th, 1943~ July 6th, 2015 Peacefully surrounded by her family, at her residence in Orillia, on Monday July 6th 2015 in her 73rd year. Bernice Ferguson, beloved wife of the late Murray Gordon Ferguson. Daughter of the late John and Irleen (Tompkins) Fredricks. Loving mother of John McNeil (partner-Vera), Margaret Wood-Kimmerly (Bruce Kimmerly), Wanda Juhl and the late Tena McNeil. Dear stepmother of Barry "Bear" Ferguson (Jana). Grandmother to Amanda Wood, Devon Wood, Brandon Wood, Crystal, Robyn, Samantha, Troy, Tara, Kaitlyn Angulo, and Felicia McNeil . Stepdaughter to Helen Fredericks. Dear sister of Barbara Fretwell, Percy Fredericks (Jean), Rose (John Doucette), Debi, Roseanne (Zane Kyser), John Fredericks (Terry), Mae (Jack Moors),Billy Fredericks and Burt Fredericks. Foster parents Willis and Margaret Blois and their daughter Patsy. Foster sister of Wilma Lynch and Vi Ross. Special friends who became a second family to her, Dave and Audrey and Guy Jouvence. Ex husband and father of her children Harry (Gerry) McNeil. Bernice will be greatly missed by her many family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Aggarwal and the palliative care staff who made her final days comfortable. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday July 9th, 2015 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
