I would like to start off by offering my deepest condolences to the family in this time of grievance. Peter was a man whose most virtuous qualities were his heart as well as his willingness to help others.
As a former Cadet of 99 Lynx Air Cadet Squadron, I experienced Peter's kindness. He was always willing to help someone in need. Peter's commitment to the power scholarship program was especially inspiring. His primary goal was to offer all the help he possibly could in order to ensure the success of candidates.
Peter was very supportive throughout my Private Pilot's License courses and was always available to answer questions. I remember on one occasion speaking to Peter for over 40 minutes on the phone before my flight test. His guidance made a difference in my life and in the lives of many more.
Peter was a mentor and a friend, he will be missed.

Fellowship with Peter was heart warming to me through a very difficult time in our lives. So much so that we asked him to speak on our behalf with the recent passing of our daughter. Peter did not hesitate to show he was a true man of God.I pray that peace will find you. God Bless. Glen and Lynn

our deepest condolences to you Marilyn, Kyle and Danielle, I will always remember our Ministry trip to Pikangikum and the trip by pick-up and trailer to Northern Manitoba to salvage two airplanes. Here we had many hours to talk about our belief and faith and encourage each other in our walk with God. You both helped us a lot with our small Flying Ministry serving Northern Manitoba and Ontario. I am thankful, that our Heavenly Father brought us together

I know Peter from 1996 at the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association when Herb Cunningham became my mentor with Peter close by to provide advice and assistance, which continued long after Herb's passing. He had such a positive impact on so many lives and put aviation in a positive light through his missionary work as well as helping people keep their aircraft safely in the air. He called a few weeks ago to wish me luck with my new job and to invite me to do some float flying this summer. I will not get the opportunity to repeat the flying/fishing trip to Victoria Lake but I will cherish the memories of my father, son and daughter enjoying some time there while Peter endured my attempts to become proficient in float flying. Marilyn, Kyle and Danielle: Thank you for sharing Peter with everyone.

My condolences to Peter's family and friends. He and I went to elementary and high school together. I remember him as a lovely person with a good heart. He always seemed to have a smile and friendly word for those who knew him. I cannot imagine what his family is feeling. I'm so very sad at his premature passing. Thankfully, we know Heaven welcomed him and his friends and loved ones will see him again one day. I will say a prayer for your loved ones during this difficult time. No words are sufficient to express my feelings so I will just simply say rest in peace Peter. God bless your family and friends during this challenging time.

Deep sorrow with heartfelt condolences to the family in the love of Jesus! Though Brother Peter will be missed and his precious absence be felt by many… yet his presence will be eternal with our Savior, Jesus Christ, in whom, everyone that has faith in His redemption shall also be united and glorified. Brother Peter kept the faith, ran the race and loved the Lord, leaving a legacy of his service before men and God. That day isn’t far…when we too shall rejoice with our Lord as He says to him: “Well done, my good and faithful steward.”! Yet…till then, may this great loss of his presence be filled with Christ’s presence, love, comfort and strength in the hearts and lives of all who are affected by the absence on earth of Brother Peter, especially, the immediate family. Though there is deep sadness and pain which words cannot fully express, there is a greater joy of comfort because of knowing where he is, and the hope and assurance to all who are in Christ Jesus, who will meet him again and spend time with, for all eternity, in the very presence of God, to whom be glory forever! May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen! Love, prayers and blessings in Christ, Dilesh Ghelani

We were so blessed to call you our neighbour first and our forever friend for the past 20 years. We have shared many great times together and sharing the ups and downs of raising our kids together. My family and I have many many fond memories~weekends at the cabin, Matt & you working together, Marilyn & I cleaning the plane for a movie, your stinky fish pond, the Hawaiian shirts you loved, the plane alarms going off in the middle of the night and the coast guard waking us all up with the lights, Xmas's spent at you house, your eggs bene's, our deep discussions, coffee in the morning at the cabin while Mar slept in, scuba diving in my pool, your speedo....enough said about that. I could go on and on.
You have touched and enriched a great many people and left your legacy which will be shared by all who were lucky enough to cross paths with you from here to Haiti.
Yesterday Matt and I had the privilege to honour you and bring you home and what an honour it was since it would be the last thing we could do for you. And this morning I had my coffee with you~just like at the cabin.....as we will for the next couple weeks. I look forward to saying Good Morning Peter and Good Night Peter as I come and go from work.
I will always be reminded of your gentle heart, excitement for teaching and setting examples for the kids, giving never taking attitude, love for your family, love of creating a safer better community for the Haitians, dressing up in your uniform for Air Cadets and the love and peace you found in the church.
From the bottom of my heart~Thank you for being my friend and neighbour. I will miss you!!
YIPPEE!!!!

Marylyn and Kids. Your father was a remarkable man. He always would take the time to help others. Whether for business by spending hours explaining how to repair something or personal by sharing stories of the cabin or about you guys and his travels to Haiti. He always took the time with his friends. As of late he came to be at peace with Jesus. I mention this because he often told me that when he no longer would be on Earth that he had a permanent job placement with Jesus to help repair the world. Although such a sad time and a horrible tragic loss I truly believe your Peter is at peace. I hope you all heal as quickly as you can. Barry
