Obituary of George MacDonald

MacDonald, George Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 28th, 2014 in his 75th year. Loving father of Reginald (Eileen) MacDonald, May (Dean) Chisholm, Raymond MacDonald, Howard (Rachael) MacDonald, and Faye (Tom) Hachie. Proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Son of the late Edward and Isabel MacDonald. Dear brother of Christine (Morris) Wells, June (Arnold) Magistad, Hector (Sandy) MacDonald, late Evelyn (Norm) Carrick, Herbie (Iris) MacDonald, late Andrew, Gary (Lesley Anne) MacDonald, and Caroline MacDonald. George will be greatly missed by his companion Frances Sheldrake, and by her family Ross Sheldrake, Yvette (David) Todd, and Ian (Christina) Sheldrake. Cremation has taken place, and at George's request no service will be held. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the Simcoe Funeral home, 38 James St. E Orillia.
