Obituary of Michael Martin

Martin, Michael Daniel "Danny" Passed away with his family by his side on Saturday November 22nd, 2014 at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in his 56th year. Danny Martin of Gravenhurst, formerly of Orillia, beloved husband of Penny Martin (nee Desjardins). Loved father of Kimberly Martin (David Hutton) of Orillia, Nicole Martin (Chris DeValadares) of Gravenhurst, Nicholas Martin of Gravenhurst and Danielle Martin (Kevin Leach) of Barrie. Loving grandfather of Nathan, Kendra, Charlize, Seth, Alex, Drayden, Tianna and Rain. Loving son of Alexander Martin (Diane) of Utterson and the late Geraldine Martin (nee Brooks). Dear brother of Bruce (Pat), Brenda (Gary), Johnny, Ben (Jake), John, Wendy, Dawn-Marie (John), Darlene (Bruce), Cheryl (Oliver), Guy, Cyrstal (Paul) and Michele (predeceased). Dear brother in law of Jack Desjardins (predeceased), Tammy Petherick, Joanie Desjardins, Susie Desjardins and Jerry Desjardins (Charlene). Danny will be missed by his many co-workers, friends and his buddy Spartacus. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday November 26th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Thursday November 27th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
