I feel blessed to have known George and been a part of his family for many years. I will always fondly remember him as a man that I admired for his generosity, hospitality, kindness and warm humour. And of course....his smile. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Bless you George and my gratitude to you for all the great times that we shared together. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, my dear friends, and wish them all strength and peace.

Catherine and Jim, We have such nice memories of George and Nan as we look through our Jamaica photo album. It is quite enjoyable getting sidetracked revisiting the bridge games(kibitzers waiting for someone to take a washroom break so they could fill in), George and I suggesting water in the rad to fix the overheat problem. This of course initiated the driver's comment that he once owned a screwdriver, too funny! Each evening concluded with great entertainment and often with Nan and I dancing to the rock and roll and George and Nan heading to their separate rooms. Your Dad and mom were such a fine example of love and kindness available to any one who got in their path. Unfortunately we are unable to get to the service but we offer our condolences to you and your families. Love Diana and Gord

RIP Uncle George. You were a kind, gentle man. You were the first one to let me drive a (your) car after I got my driver's licence (1967). You even let me take all of the kids in the car. My Dad didn't let me drive his car until he needed cigarettes :). I love you and will miss you.

Uncle George was always warm and approachable. He was the one adult that I felt was always interested in hearing my stories when I was little kid, and one of the best huggers ever. A fixture at all of our special family gatherings especially Boxing days (I can still hear your laughter). You are a special person who will always be remembered with great fondness and warmth. My condolences to my cousins and their families in their time of grief and transition. Love Rob and Karen Trosino
