You Were the wisest man I have ever known, and I am so thankful to have had the oppurtuniy to be loved and raised by such an extrordinary person. You always had a positive outlook on everything in life and the strongest will power, I learned incredible things from you and I will always carry the practical knowledge and the life skills you passed on to me, You taught me how to ride my first Pony and built a great tree house for me in our backyard. I am also so thankful my Son had the oppurtunity to be a part of your lif, Landen and you were so close and there wasn't a time he wasn't by your side during visits, you will be missed by him so much. You have impacted so many people's lives in so many positive ways, you were never short to reach a helping hand to anyone who needed it, you impressed so many people with your wise morals, values and opinions. You had a comical sense of humor that always made people laugh and a wonderful smile that illuminated every room. You were so devoted and hardworking, and put your best effort into every task. I remember when we used to go ice fishing, and you used to let me drive the car down the drive way, sitting on your lap because I was to small to reach the pettles. I miss our old family camping trips, and holdiay dinners when everyone came together and celebrated, it's not going to be the same anymore without you. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and spend another moment with you, there is so many things left unsaid.
I love you Poppa, I will be thinking of you.

I have so many memories of spending time with grandma and grandpa at their house on lake St. John that it is impossible to choose only one. Summers we would swim, boat, pick clam shells and dig seawead off the beach. Winters we would snowmobile and go ice fishing. Grandpa was usually either working or in his garage fixing something but when he wasn't busy he was always telling us jokes and making us laugh; either playing with his false teeth or trying to convince us he was pregnant with an elephant! When I look back, the majority of my favourite childhood memories are from when I visited them and I realize now what a truly lucky child I was to have loving grandparents like I do.
