To My Nanny, As I sat rocking your great granddaughter to sleep tonight I tried to find comfort in knowing that your journey has just begun. I was interrupted by this thinking maybe it was a strain on you. How do you move on knowing all of us are in need of you right now. Wishing we could feel your touch and hear your voice. Who do you go to? How do you spread your love when we all desire the same thing at the exact same time? My wish is that you do rest in peace and know that you always taught us that family is first and we can find comfort in one another. You showed all of us what real love was and we will all be forever grateful for that. Lord, take care of my nanny, the mother, sister, great grandmother and friend that so many had.
