Dick was a 60 year member of the Brechin Legion, a position he held with great pride and dedication.. He touched the hearts of many with his unending kindness. He was a great listener and never criticized. If you were fortunate enough you may have heard him recite many Robert Service poems-the most treasured one "The Cremation of Sam Magee- a special family tradition at Christmas. Dick had many passions in life; picking strawberries, boiling sap, playing euchre; and he was told by the recycling pick-up that he was the best recycler in town. He enjoyed getting his snowblower out and taking care of anyone who needed it. We ask that you keep Dick in your prayers and join us for a celebration of Dick's life.
