Hislop: Doreen Margaret At the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 in her 81st year. Doreen Hislop (Nee Fowler) beloved wife of Robert Greer Hislop of 57 years. Much loved mother of Craig Kerslake (Peggy) of Staffa, ON, the late Katherine Hislop, Calvin Hislop of Orillia, Peter Hislop (Sandra) of Orillia and Christine (Steven Turcotte) of Barrie. Loving grandmother of Heather, Ian, Allan, Lynette, Samantha, Liza, Jordynne, Steven, and Alicia. Great grandmother of Grace and Brian. Dear sister of Raymond Fowler (Pat) of St. Mary's, Stan and the late Melvin Fowler. Doreen worked as a volunteer for the Hammond Jr. Kings Lacrosse. She was committee member of Orillia Accessibility Committee and also a member of Hard of Hearing Orillia Chapter. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home-38 James Street E. Orillia on Tuesday December 27th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Wednesday December 28th, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
