Uncle Norman will be missed by many people. He has touched so many lives, as was obvious when in the receiving line at the visitation. His brother Maurice, will miss their occasional chats as well. Thinking of you all and especially Aunt Frances, but glad she has the support of so many.

To Frances and the family, Norm will always hold a dear place in my heart. How he cared for our family, how his words of wisdom and grace have healed through the years, how his chuckle and humour caused a sad heart to smile; all God poured into him will be missed, but not forgotten. His passion in the pulpit is a testimony to the man God built and nurtured. Thank you for your part in letting Norm follow his calling. He was a man of integrity. Blessings to you all, and love from Debbie Miller.

Francis, Justin and Calvin. I'm sorry for your loss. We have so many wonderful memories from our years growing up with you at Fair Havens. Pastor Baird preached with passion and conviction to the heart of his congregation. He preached the word of God faithfully, and impacted my spiritual growth immeasurably. The man behind the pulpit, was the same man we knew in his home, or where ever he went...he was a humble man of integrity, and an example of how we should live out our faith. We were blessed to have known him, and we look forward to being with him again in heaven. Many there will be in heaven who were influenced for Christ by the words and life of Pastor Baird.
Praying for God's peace and comfort for your family at this time.
With love and gratitude,
Don Hiscox and family

My condolences to Frances and family. It is with some regret that I missed the funeral for Pastor Baird. It is hard to believe that it is almost 50 years now that I was baptized by him at First Baptist. Frances, your beautiful voice will absolutely forever continue to ring in my ears whenever I think of the hymn, “I am so glad that Jesus Loves Me.” So many years ago your descant rang beautifully throughout the sanctuary and I always loved it when we sang that song! Pastor Baird always had the warmth and kindness of Jesus, and it is an honour to have that special memory of the important part he has played in my Christian walk. Blessings to all of you. Brenda (daughter of Howard and Alice Baker)

To live is Christ, to die is gain. What a wonderful man. He filled my pulpit many times at Orillia Alliance 1998-2009. His depth and passion for Jesus leaked out with contagious joy. I last saw him 10 months ago and he was as gracious as ever. Heaven has gained what we have lost. The reunion will be rich and joyous.
