Aunt Myrtle was my dad's sister and I have many happy memories of visiting Lindsay and Orillia to see Aunt Myrtle, Uncle Bruce and all our cousins. We never wanted to leave and I can remember we would hide my mother's purse so we could stay longer!

I used to love our family road trips from Port Hope when I was young to visit Aunt Myrtle and Uncle Bruce and the kids in Lindsay and then Orillia. As a kid, Orillia seemed so far away. Aunt Myrtle was always so much fun and always seemed to be laughing. Our dad was Aunt Myrtle's brother Gord Burns. I have often thought about her over the years so I was so pleased to see her a few years ago in Port Hope when she came to visit with Marg Swain.

I really enjoyed the times I saw your mother and that cute little dog of hers, how much she loved and enjoyed her pet.
