Obituary of Elizabeth Simonds

Simonds, Betty Elizabeth (nee Monkman) Passed away at RVH Barrie on Sunday, December 17 in her 93rd year. Survived by her daughter Debbie (Jim) Lindenas, grandsons Dan (Tisha) & Michael (Tim), one great-grandchild, and her sisters Phyllis Banks and Marjorie (Crawford) Jenkins. Predeceased by her sister Rheta Fines. She was an active member for 60 years at the Royal Canadian Legion, Ladies Auxiliary in Espanola, Carman Manitoba & Barrie. In retirement, she enjoyed her time in the choir in Carman Manitoba, and Parkview Singers in Barrie, Ontario. Many thanks to all the staff in the Specialized Seniors Care Inpatient & Respiratory Inpatient Units at Barrie’s Royal Victoria Hospital. Special thanks & gratitude to Betty’s friend, Harvey for his kindness and friendship. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
