Obituary of Audrey Zwiers

Zwiers, Audrey (nee Eising) On December 30th, 2023, in her 88th, year, Audrey went home to her Lord and Saviour. Audrey Zwiers of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Henry Zwiers for 47 years. Much loved mother of Bob and his wife Nancy of Jackson, Mississippi, Brian and his wife Caroline of Orillia, and Jeff and his wife Tracey of Orillia. Loving Oma of Anna Crosbie (Eddie), Jayme (Nolan), Leah Smith (Andrew), Daniel (Klarissa), Thomas, Tim, Allie, Lauren, John; great Oma of Eden, Henry, and Russell. Dear sister of Joan Weaver of London, Elly and her husband Cor Wust of Orillia, Ralph-predeceased and his wife Nellie Eising of Tweed, Trudy and her husband Karel Van Ettekoven-predeceased of The Netherlands, Jack Eising-predeceased and his wife Nuala of Ireland, Nel and her husband Udo Brenne on London. Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Audrey’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial staff and the Bayshore Healthcare nursing staff for all of their compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Friday January 5th, 2024, from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday January 6th, 2024, from 10 am until 12 noon at the Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, 50 Fittons Road W. Orillia. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
