Obituary of Del MacNeal

MacNeal, Delbert James Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday October 13th, 2023, at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Dale MacNeal (nee Fleet) for 50 years. Loving father of Beverly Brandt (Ken), Heather MacNeal (Chris) and Bonnie MacNeal. Cherished grandfather of Cheyenne, Gavin, Melissa, and great grandfather of Lorelai. Dear brother of Betty Wright (Bud). Predeceased by his brothers Dalton, Marshall, and Larry. Del will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephew’s, family, and friends. Interment will be held at the Udney United Cemetery, Simcoe County Rd 169, Ramara, on Friday October 20th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East in Orillia from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E.
