Obituary of Bradley Marvin Steele

Steele, Bradley Marvin Born in Orillia on August 6, 1937, recently of Smiths Falls, passed away at home with Shirley, David and Kathi by his side on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Together over fifty years Brad, is the cherished husband of Shirley. Father of Lizah, and Nathan, David, Kathi (Claude), Wendy, Barby (Bill), and Thomas. He is predeceased by children Lois and Vernon. Proud grandfather of Mark, Melissa, Spencer (Bev), Sam, Elizabeth, Cassandra (Jamie), and his namesake Bradley Moore. His Great grandchildren are D.J., Nicky and Jayce. Recently a Great- great to Exavier. Brad will also be remembered by his loving nieces Debbie and Wendy and by his extended family and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents Lena and Alex Steele of Atherley, his sisters Winnie and Berta and brothers Ray, Clarence, Gordy, Clifford, Stanley, and Lionel. Bradley was one of Canada’s certified top welders, as well as holding the position of foreman at Farahmet. In his life, Brad was a fisherman and well respected guide, also a volunteer Fireman in Atherley. He was a wonderful dad and husband who raised his grandchild David as his own child. He will be loved forever. A service to celebrate Brad’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E. Orillia on Wednesday September 27th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
