Obituary of Ida Viola Reed

Reed, Ida Viola ( nee Link) Passed away at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday August 30, 2023, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Reed (1987). Loving mother of Alberta Bartlett (Russell), Emily Inglis (late John), Fred Reed (Dawn Hudson). Loving grandmother/Nana of Christine (Brian), Faye (Andrew), Cindy (Kevin), Robert (Laurie), Daniel ( Amanda); great grandmother of Jensen, Ainsley (Scott), late Isabella, Jacob, Ryan, Colton Paisley; great great grandmother of Eleanor and Keaton. Dear sister of Alf, Harve, Mac, Bella, Matilda, Doris, and Ruby all predeceased. Ida will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Sunday September 3rd, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday September 4th, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until time for funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery in Orillia.
