Obituary of Jean Parkes

Parkes: Jean Idabell Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday May 29th, 2013 in her 84th year. Jean Parkes (nee Hodgkinson) beloved wife of the late Earl Parkes. Dear daughter of the late Frank and Ida Hodgkinson. Loving mother of Gary Parkes (Minnie predeceased), Diane (Bill Clements), Allan Parkes (Kathy), Carolyn Parkes-Stevenson (Randy), Frank Parkes and Barbara (Richard VanderMeer). Dear sister of Joy McTavish (predeceased), Lloyd Hodgkinson (Rita predeceased), Elsie (Bill Courvoisier), Beverly Hodgkinson (predeceased) (Wilhemina), Margaret (Bill Lahay), and Gloria (Rick Elder). Cherished grandmother of fifteen and great grandmother of four. A memorial gathering to celebrate Jean's life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E.
