Obituary of Christina Margaret Burns

Burns, Christina Margaret Peacefully, passed away at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Saturday July 15th, 2023, in her 92nd, year. She was born in Toronto and is predeceased by her mother Christina Burns; grandparents Christina and William Burns. Christina’s community was her family at heart where she spent extensive time as a volunteer in Orillia. She was a faithful servant through St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church where she was a friend to everyone. Truly blessed to have her wonderful caregivers, Donna Howell and her daughter Amanda Ruttan, April Hill, and Maureen Cronins to assist her these past few years. Christina will be lovingly remembered by her cousin Elizabeth Vanstone. A service of remembrance will be held at later date. She will be laid to rest beside her mother and grandparents at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
