Obituary of Jim Graves

Graves, James Warren “Jim” It is with sadness that we announce Jim’s passing at Oak Terrace in Orillia on Saturday April 29th, 2023, at the age of 83. Jim will be deeply missed by his son, Scott Graves. He will be remembered by Scott’s mom, Joyce Graves. Jim is survived by his sister Maud and predeceased by his brothers Lloyd and Ralph. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, and many friends. Jim spent a lifetime making friends. He loved to talk, tell jokes and stories from back in the day. Jim’s lifelong pastimes were attending flea markets, old car shows, collecting antiques, buying and selling, repairing and building almost anything. He was a “Jack of all Trades”. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E. Orillia on Friday May 12th , 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Hospice Orillia may be made through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E., Orillia (705) 327 0221.
