Obituary of Ed Kitching

Kitching, Edward John Peacefully, passed away at his home in Orillia on Sunday April 23rd, 2023 at the age of 81. Born in Westmount QC, predeceased by his parents John and Estelle Kitching. Beloved husband of Colleen Kitching (nee O’Brien) for 27 years. Loving father of Vincent, David, Daniel, and Sabrina. Dear brother of Billy, Eric, Violet Davis – Morgan, Joyce Devine, Julie Soeder, Steve Saunders, Maureen Ruckstuhl and Diane Krajnc. Cherished son of the late John and Stella Kitching. Ed will be missed and lovingly remembered by many family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Orillia Community Church, 64 Colborne St. E on Saturday April 29th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Hospice Orillia may be made through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E., Orillia (705) 327 0221.
