Obituary of Ted Preston Ruttan

Ruttan, Ted Preston (a.k.a Cuddles) Passed away suddenly at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at the age of 74, after a four year long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 35 wonderful years to Laura, together they shared many memories, laughter and love. Proud father of Peter Preston Ruttan (Karol), Page Ashley Ruttan-Ganton (Ryan Ganton) and Dawn Delerine Ivy Ruttan (Cody Allan). Cherished grandfather of Preston & Sarah Ruttan, Lillian & Parker Ganton. Will be missed by his siblings Connie Wood (Gary) and their son Timmy a.k.a Timbits, Dorothy Ruttan (Randy), David Ruttan ( Anna), Mike Ruttan – predeceased (Debbie) and their kids Andrew, Michelle and Pamela, Joe Ruttan - predeceased and their son Marty (Delia), Jeff Ruttan (Petra) and their kids Susan, Randy, Jeff, and Amber. Cherished son of the late Preston and Delerine Ruttan. He was a committed hardworking man in Casino Rama’s kitchen services for 19 years and retired February of 2019. Ted will be fondly remembered by his Casino Rama Family & the Biker Community. He was a rough & tough guy on the outside, but would give you the shirt off his back. He had the biggest heart of them all. His love and passion for the ride created the best days for him. Ted was a loyal and dedicated man to his family and friend’s.
