Obituary of Bill Rands

Rands, William Charles ‘Bill’ Royal Canadian Navy and Retired Police Officer, OPP for 25 years Bill passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Saturday November 19th, 2022, at the age of 86. Bill was born in Orillia, predeceased by his parents Alfred ”Ted” Rands and Honour “Tiny” Hill (nee Joslin) and stepfather Percy Hill. Beloved husband of Susan Rands (nee McMaster) for 47 years. Loving father of Jennifer, Jason, Debbie, and Karen. Bill was loved by many grandchildren, nieces and nephew, other family members and friends. Predeceased by brothers Paul (Donna), and Peter (Gloria). Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E, Orillia on Saturday July 29th, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe or to a Hospice of your choice through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E.
