Obituary of Clarence Basil Sheppard

Sheppard, Clarence Basil January 25th, 1957 – August 17th , 2022 All of us who knew and loved Clare are deeply saddened by his passing at SMH Orillia. He was the son of Clarence Victor Sheppard and Hazel Catherine Sheppard nee Canning (deceased). He is survived by his wife Susanne Marie Ryan-Sheppard and all of her amazing family who wholeheartedly embraced him as one of their own. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Langdon (William), Victor Sheppard (Marj), George Sheppard, Peter Sheppard (Terri), Lorne Sheppard (Tracy), and Gloria Sheppard (Dan). His son Stephen (Penny), and daughters Cathy and Tanya (Pat) and their mother Fern Sheppard, as well as the many nieces, nephews and grandchildren he so dearly loved. A special thanks to the wonderful team at SMH Orillia for the dedication and compassionate care that gave him great comfort and support during his final days. A service and reception will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Wednesday August 24th at 11:00 a.m. Family members will gather at Bethel Cemetery, 1372 ON-11, Severn Bridge, at 1:45 p.m. for the committal of his remains.
