Obituary of Bernice Emberson

Emberson, Bernice It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Bernice at her home in Orillia on Wednesday July 12th, 2022 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband John Emberson. Much loved mom of John B (Cath), Lynda (Richard), Christopher, Cameron, Victor (Carol), and Gerry. Predeceased by her sisters May, Isabel, Alice, Elsie, Ellen and Barbara and brothers Richard and Kitchener. Sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren Joel (Jessica), Veronica (Keith), Jason (Tracy), Lauren (Esteban), Madelaine (Conner), Reid (Emily), Graham (Emma), Nathan (Karmel), Aaron (Savanah), Victoria (Drew), Zachary (Jayda), Kaitlyn (Nick) and Megan (Brian), her 16 great grandchildren Ian, Eric, Courtney, Austin, Dominic, Mercedes (Keegan), Daytona, Shelby, Chevy, Elia, Alba, Oscar, Dalia, Calla, Juniper, Luke and 2 great great grandchildren Sibella and Onyx. Bernice will be truly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A celebration of Bernice’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E Orillia on Wednesday August 10th, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Simcoe County through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia (705) 327-0221.
