well i met dixie 13 years ago and i think she didnt quite know what to think about me but she was always nice as time went on we had a great relationship not always agreeing on everything but we always worked things out she was always there when i needed someone to talk to with an open ear and an honest opinion she loved all of her children dearly from cindy right down to dennis oh ya and i cant forget her turkey bird (dallas) next to bill (her late husband) dallas was the love of her life and she was always great with him and so much help to tina and i we love and miss you dearly dix and you will always be in my heart

I first met Dixie and her kids when I moved to Orillia and was looking for a baby sitter for my son.. Lucky for me I stumbled across Dixie, who was not only a loving sitter ..but turned out to be one of my dearest friends I have ever had. She cared so much for other people always doing and giving whatever she could to them. Karen, Tina and Dennis were blessed to have her in their lives. I will deeply miss you my old friend. I hope now you are at peace and getting in return some of the wonderful rewards you deserve......and I have never never had a better butter tart in my life. Love You Always.......Mardi..xoxox
