Obituary of Bert John Heidman

Heidman, Bert John Peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour at Spencer House in Orillia on June 27th, 2022 at the age of 98. Beloved husband, for over 70 years of Catherine Heidman (nee Gilchrist) – predeceased 2018. Loving father of Donald (Kathleen), Gord (Leah - predeceased), Peter (Melody), Anne Petersen (Ralph) and David (Jill). Cherished grandfather of Brent, Allan (Amber), Clinton (Stacy), Meredith, Timothy (Lynn), Thomas (Mara), Craig, Eric, Rosemary, Jonathan (Mel), and Nadia (Ryan). Great grandfather to Katerina, Janessa, Silas, Micah, Anderson, Weston, Jack, Cora and Bert. Dear brother of Jean Heidman- predeceased. Bert will be missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday June 30th, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at another time.
