Dear Tim and Family, My deepest sympathies to all of you as I received the news of the passing of Your Mom/Grandmother. I was so fortunate to have a telephone conversation with her a few weeks ago. We talked of all the good times in the Orillia Figure Skating Club 50 years ago, when we were both coaches within the club. The old Community Centre, the kids, the costumes and many fond memories. Mary Ellen was a sweet lady, warm and kind and very organized with all her little kiddos on the ice. I have many unforgettable memories of her as we spent countless hours together over the years. And I will remember your sister too, Shari, as we called her back then, with her curly pony tail. A sweetie as well. I feel blessed in knowing them both. Tim, as I didn’t get to know you as well, back then, I pray for comfort and strength as you continue forward, in knowing that I’m sure, the two of them are together again brushing up on their skating skills.
