Obituary of Sheila Carruthers

Carruthers: Sheila Roberta (nee Walton) Passed away at Trillium Manor Orillia, surrounded by her family on Friday February 8th, 2013 in her 73rd year. Sheila, beloved wife of Larry Carruthers. Loved mother of David Carruthers, Terri Lay and Paul Carruthers. Cherished grandmother of Nicole and Lucas Carruthers of Calgary, Ryan and Taylor Lay of Orillia and Fife and Marley Campbell of Orillia. Loved sister of Mike and Robert Walton of Toronto and Mary Kay Walton and her partner Bev Nelson of Waterloo. Sister in law to Marilyn and Bill Murphy of Toronto, Barbara Brown of Orillia, Margaret and George Collins of Paris, David and Teri Carruthers of Toronto and Don and Carol Carruthers of Calgary. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. The family extends appreciation to her doctors and the caring staff of the Oro Medonte section of the Trillium Manor where Sheila lived over the past 4 years. The family will receive family and friends at the Simcoe Funeral Home-38 James Street E. Orillia for visitation on Friday, February 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate Sheila's life will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 1 p.m. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice.
