Dawson, David Lister It is with broken hearts that we announce Dave’s passing at his home in Orillia, with his family by his side, on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the age of 76. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Rachel (nee Deslaunais), and they were married for an amazing 55 years. Proud and loving Dad of Michelle Herrington (Colin Young), (late David Herrington), Nicky Locker (Arthur) and Amanda Weaver (Scott). Adored Poppa of Emma (Stephen), Sarah, Brett (Anna), Brandon, Grace, Isaac, George, Sam, and Max; doting grandfather to his many grand-pups; and great-grandfather of Scarlett. Dave is predeceased by his parents Lister and Rita Dawson. Brother to Robert (predeceased), Sharon (Byron), Danny (Jeannine), Carol, and Stephen. Dave will be dearly missed by family and friends. In keeping with Dave’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held in Temagami, his happy place.
