Obituary of Gwendolyn Shirley Cleland

Cleland, Gwendolyn Shirley Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday October 3rd 2021 at the age of 93. Born in Hamilton ON, predeceased by her parents George and Pearl Rogers. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Cleland. Loving mother of Lynn Coriat (David), and John Innes (Carol). Proud grandma of Jessica, Greg, Christopher, Beth; great grandmother of Liam, Eric, Kailey, and Olivia. Gwen is predeceased by her siblings Audrey Hendershot (Bill), and June Attwood (Frank). She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. The family wish to extend a special thank you to the ‘Three Musketeers’ Brenda Gunnel, Marilyn Coad, and Bernie Madden who looked out for Gwen up until the end; also Dr. Ben McNaull for his compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Friday October 8th from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Andrew's St. James Cemetery, Orillia.
