Robert Walter Richard Elvins "Bobby"
Sept. 21,1940 - April 13, 2021
Robert was born in Belleville on September 21,1940.
Eldest son of Robert (Pop) & Eva (Ma) Elvins.
He was "Big Brother" to Earl (Janice) Doug (Justine) Alan (Lina)
Sadly Predeceased by Doug & Justine and his Nephews Jeffrey Elvins & Kelvin Staples
At 12 months old, his family moved to 24th St. - Long Branch, Ontario.
That was where he built special friendships and his story began.
Robert was known for his love of Music, Baseball and Lacrosse.
He was scouted by the Boston Red Sox (pitcher) at the age of 17.
Music was one of his favorite past times and a hobby that he enjoyed.
With any gathering you could be sure the music would be provided
by DJ "Bobby" and fun was had by all.
He married Lucille (Staples), the love of his life, in 1967. Married for 53 years!
Robert and Lucille made a life together filled with memories, love and a beautiful family. Together they shared memorable times with Family on the Staples Farm and at Hawk Lake. He enjoyed spending time up North with the Elvins Family on Lake Couchiching and Bass Lake. You would often find him sitting outdoors listening to the music from the impressive playlists that he created over many years.
Robert spoke fondly of the friendships he made during his journey of life.
He enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren and they will miss him very much.
Robert will be missed by his Daughter Melanie (Todd) Grandson's Brandon, Alex, Jesse.
His Son Stephen (Kathleen) Grandson Liam and Granddaughter Lucille (Lucy)
"Bobby's" wife Lucille is Heartbroken by his loss along with his many Family & Friends.

Robert passed away at the Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto on Tuesday April 13th 2021 at the age of 80 years. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a future date.
